Dr. Evan Kaplan is a distinguished optometrist with over three decades of experience in clinical care, education, and specialty contact lens fitting.
He served as Chief of Cornea and Contact Lens Services at SUNY College of Optometry for 17 years and was the Director of Specialty Contact Lenses at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai for 20 years.
Dr. Kaplan is an invited lecturer throughout the world on Specialty Contact Lenses and Myopia Control. In addition, he is a Key Opinion leader and Advisory Board Member for contact lense companies, a Board Member of the American Academy of Optometry Foundation, and the current president of the New York Academy of Optometry.
